Some schools try to cut down on the amount of paper they print and send home.  In an attempt to do this schools are moving more towards electronic communication, however, not all families have access to the internet.  The school may wish to keep a list of parents who indicate that they do not have internet access, so that the school can send hard copies home with those children. The importance of data reporting to ensure full FTE funding

The Florida Educational Finance Program provides funds to public schools, including charter schools.  The funding is based on the data reported during the state reporting weeks.  The first of which is October 8-12 this year.  Ensuring you have the data entered properly is essential to ensuring you receive all of the funds you are entitled to.  Even if you have the students in the seats at your school, you must have them reported correctly to receive funds.
